Hand Geometry
The Handkey uses field-proven hand geometry biometric technology. The
reader captures a three dimensional image of the hand. No fingerprints or
palm prints are used. The hand’s size and the shape are used to confirm the
person’s identity with unparalleled accuracy. Green and red indicator lights
notify the person if they are accepted or rejected. There’s no question with
this reader, the person has to be there to gain access or clock in.
The reader can operate either as a standalone unit or as part of a network. Connection options are RS232, RS485, Modem & Ethernet.
